An Optical Network Unit (ONU) is a user-side device in a PON network that provides access services such as data services. In the downstream direction, the ONU receives optical signals and converts them into Ethernet frames for delivery to users. In the upstream direction, it converts Ethernet frames received from user devices or networks into optical signals and transmits them to the upstream network over the PON.
The XF0000-M2A series is an Optical Network Unit (ONU) developed for GPON or EPON networks. It adopts Passive Optical Network (PON) technology and offers advantages over conventional access products in cost-effectiveness, maintainability, and scalability. The XF0000-M2A series provides one Gigabit Ethernet port.
