The 58EYAxx series ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier is a high-power multi-port output fiber amplifier with a gain spectral bandwidth ranging from 1545 to 1560 nm. It is mainly designed for applications in CATV or 1 to 8 consecutive band channels (ITU wavelengths). It provides a flexible and cost-effective solution for large-scale FTTH coverage in major cities of CATV systems.
The 58EYAxx can achieve single-wavelength transmission of cable TV signals, or it can implement a single-fiber three-wave transmission design through built-in FWDM. It is an important device for constructing large and medium-sized fiber transmission networks for CATV.
