The WS-XF0000-L1 series is a high-performance, intelligent xPON Optical Network Unit (ONU) independently developed by Shandong Wanshuo Optoelectronic. As the standard user-side terminal for Passive Optical Network (PON) systems, it realizes bidirectional conversion between optical signals and Ethernet packets: receiving downstream optical signals from OLT and converting them into Ethernet packets for end users, while encapsulating upstream user data into optical signals and transmitting them to the upper-layer network.

This 1GE ONU adopts industry-leading RTL chipset and advanced PON technology, delivering superior cost-effectiveness, maintainability and scalability compared with traditional copper access solutions. Its most prominent feature is GPON/EPON automatic switching, which can automatically identify and adapt to different network modes without manual configuration, greatly simplifying deployment and reducing inventory pressure for operators. Equipped with 1 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port supporting 10/100/1000Mbps adaptive transmission, it fully meets the high-bandwidth requirements of 4K/8K video streaming, online gaming, high-speed internet access and IP monitoring.

The device natively supports IPv4/IPv6 dual protocol stack, and integrates comprehensive network functions including HGU gateway, DHCP Client/Server, PPPoE dial-up, NAT, DMZ, DDNS, port mapping and loop detection. It has optimized IGMP Snooping/Proxy multicast features, and supports optional one-way CATV RF interface, making it an ideal choice for triple play services. With a rated power consumption of only ≤4W, it achieves industry-leading energy efficiency, significantly reducing long-term operating costs. It can operate stably in harsh environments with 0~+50℃ operating temperature and 10~85% non-condensing humidity, and supports a maximum transmission distance of 20km, suitable for large-scale deployment in urban and rural fiber networks.
