The FTTH-OR18 series is a high-performance active home optical receiver specially designed for FTTH CATV network terminal access. Adopting high-sensitivity low-power photodetectors and advanced full GaAs low-noise amplification technology, it delivers industry-leading receiving sensitivity, supporting digital signal reception down to -18dBm.
This series provides two AGC configuration options: OR18B with -5~-15dBm AGC range and OR18D with -2~-12dBm AGC range, ensuring stable RF output even with fluctuating input optical power. It features a high-quality plastic housing with side through-hole design for excellent heat dissipation, and is equipped with multi-stage TVS transient suppression diodes and anti-high-frequency surge devices for comprehensive lightning protection.
It supports both single-port and dual-port output configurations, with multiple optical connector (SC/APC, SC/PC, FC/APC, FC/PC) and RF interface (metric/imperial) options. An optional built-in 1550nm optical isolator is available to filter out non-1550nm wavelengths. OR18B supports customized 12V power supply in addition to standard AC90-250V to DC5V power supply, making it highly flexible for various installation scenarios. It can work with ONU or EOC devices to realize triple play convergence of CATV, data and voice services.
